Description

We will visit with you the heart of Ancient Rome. From the Capitoline Hill, we will admire the Roman Forum, trying to imagine how it looked in ancient times. Then we will go to see Caesar’s Forum, Augustus’s Forum, the Temple of Peace, and Trajan’s Forum. I will tell you the history of Ancient Rome, and the landmarks will illustrate my story. We will also visit the Colosseum, the gladiators’ barracks, and the triumphal Arch of Constantine. You will learn about the spectacles held in this amphitheater, when and why it stopped being used as an arena, what happened to it in the Middle Ages, and how it managed to survive to this day. It will be an exciting journey, as if we were racing through the centuries in a time machine, discovering the mysteries and secrets of Ancient Rome!
